Driver:Frank Carstanza
Vehicle:Maxi Taxi
Teams:Metro Transit Co-op
Base:1982 Maxi Taxi Piston Popper

Frank Carstanza drove a cab in St. Louis before the war, and he will tell you this within the first thirty seconds of meeting him, unprompted, as though it explains everything that follows. In his mind, nothing has really changed. There’s a passenger. There’s a destination. There’s a meter running… metaphorically speaking, since the actual meter was torn out years ago to make room for a gun mount.

The Maxi Taxi is technically part of the Metro Transit Co-op’s fleet, which means it’s technically bring-your-own-gun like everything else the co-op runs. Frank has opinions about this. Frank has opinions about the rental fee, the route, the traffic, the weather, and the ongoing Martian occupation of Earth, and he will share all of them before you’ve finished loading your luggage. Riders quickly learn that the fastest way to get moving is to simply agree with him.

What Frank lacks in restraint he makes up for in an almost supernatural refusal to be intimidated. Convoys, gangs, other Slaglands teams — to Frank they’re all just fares who haven’t tipped yet. He drives aggressively, argues constantly, and has never once, in the co-op’s recorded history, made it through a run without an incident report.

He still expects a tip at the end.
